Filippo Caprioglio graduated in Architecture from the “Venice University Architect Institute” and then passed his Master in Architectural Design M-Arch II at the "Syracuse University" School of Architecture. He has taught architectural composition at Syracuse, New York and Florence Universities, and since 2008 he teaches at the University of Maryland as Key Distinguished Professor. He designs on his own behalf and in cooperation with the Caprioglio Associati studio. Some of his main works are the Asseggiano building complex and the new Building Citadel in Marghera and the conversion of a rural complex on the Asolo hills. Besides his architectural planning, Filippo Caprioglio also has a passion for design and he has created a range of lamps, chairs, accessories and other everyday items. His most important works and projects have been published in both Italian and foreign books and magazines.
