I bought this as a gift for my mother, All krups coffee machines work well if used correctly. I surely would of not purchased this one. Mine is old and the only thing that doesn't work is the timer. I refuse on giving my old one up. And it still makes the best cup of coffee ever.

The only problem I have is opening the duo filterholder. It does not open as easily as my previous Krups maker. I have only good things to say about Cookware[@], though...great people!!! Thanks for being so considerate and prompt.

I love this product. I brew a full pot everyday and sometimes twice a day. I love the fact it takes a 14 paper filter, it makes cleaning up the coffee grounds a snap. The pot brews fast and lets me know when it's ready with a beep. The coffee stays hot for quite sometime and the maker turns itself off when not in use for extended periods of time. The only "drawback" is every time I pick up the full pot, the handle makes a cracking sound like it is going to come off and scares me.
