Wayfairs has allowed me to review this product thanks to a blog program. I was attracted to this kettle by the old-timey factor and the beauty of the brushed stainless steel. It's a little bit of trouble to clean when it's splattered with grease, though a quick once over every day will keep build up from sticking. The spout latch sometimes flicks back up and sprays hot liquid, but it's not that bad. The whistle gets a bit loud. The instructions say not to heat the kettle over high heat, and this is to prevent warping. Overall, I like this purchase and am pleased by the quality.

The new kettle has a perfectly round black spot where the enamel has come off. Very shocked at this. It's less than a month old.

Handle has a piece so that you can pick it up and you don't burn your hand when you go to pour Holds much more than my previous kettle and heat up very quickly

This is my first tea kettle and I LOVE it. You can never go wrong with KitchenAid and I am very satisfied with the quality. It also looks great in my kitchen.
