KitchenAid 3.5-Cup Food Chopper
A Big Little Work Horse!

I am in the process of changing my kitchen over to all organic...from cookware, seasonings, utensils, to food. Buying organic food, for me due to living out in the country, means buying in bulk. Buying in bulk means storing some of the veggies and fruits so they don't go bad before consuming them. This means I need help so I'm not standing in the kitchen chopping for 3-5 hours! I went shopping for a food chopper. I never buy anything at first sight. When I see something I want, I do my homework first, which was the case with this little chopper. The first day it arrived, it was right to work. I washed it in hot soapy water, except the electrical base, of course, then we were off. This little thing stayed right with me cutting, chopping, pureeing several pounds of veggies and fruit, without any complaint. She wears her fruits and veggies very well; cauliflower looks especially nice against her red skirt! She cleans up very easily, no fuss, no muss. Cord storage in the bottom, it just wraps around inside a well held in place by little teeth. The cup size is generous, and even filled to capacity, she chopped, and pureed like a full size food processor. One thing, when you put this little jewel together, and you'll see what I mean, make sure that the black handle matches up with the two little black teeth on the base. If not, even though you have everything seemingly snapped into place, she won't work because those black teeth on the base are her power points. So be sure all black parts are aligned; then you're good to go. She won't disappoint, and she'll keep right up with your best effort to trip her up. She's a big little work horse indeed!!

An ideal size for preparing two people's meal, and it's easy to operate. Still works very well after 1-year usage.

Love my new chopper. Bought to replace a small cheap chopper that could not chop varied nuts.

Awesome, Easier and less cumbersome than a food processer. Very easy to operate and easy to clean.
