Lots of ways to play - for a range of ages. from Audubon, NJ on 12/30/2014 – Verified Buyer
I bought the Garage Playset for two of my grandchildren. A 1-year old boy and a 2 1/2 year old boy. Totally different personalities and skill sets, but they both play with the garage in their own way. There are so many ways to play with this that I think both boys will play with it for a long time. Very colorful and sturdy. A little difficult to put together because of the "pictures only" directions, but worth it in the end. Kind of an old fashioned toy, since it's made of wood and not plastic, but that's actually why I bought it. I was very pleased and so were my grandsons!

Build it before you gift it to your child!!! from Orlando, FL on 05/05/2015 – Verified Buyer
I decided to built the set and then present it to him on his birthday. A piece was missing, a critical one that held the elevator in place. I called KidKraft and I had the piece within a few days. So my advice is to build it early, and hopefully you have all the pieces It is a very sturdy set. Pros: Made of wood and sturdy Cons: When installing ensure you have aligned all the wall pieces or else it looks crocked.

Great toy - doesnt work well with other cars from Apex, NC on 03/10/2014 – Verified Buyer
I purchased this for my 3 year old son and he absolutely loves it. The one minor drawback is that other brands of cars do not go down the ramp well (they fly off between levels). I was a bit disappointed by that issue but other than that it is a really great garage. The cars that come with it are very fun to run down the ramp and roll very well. All of the accessories are great actually - the people, the gas pump, gate, and car wash are all very well constructed. Very nice quality and cute enough that I don't mind having it in the living room. I defintiely recommend this product.

Car wash from Fort Worth, TX on 11/25/2014
I gave this to my grandson last Xmas ( he was 3), he still loves to play with it. A little tricky to put together, but worth it. The elevator is probably his favorite part of it. Just keep looking at the finished picture on the box as you put together. Pros: Fun toy, sturdy Cons: Time to put together.

Good purchase overall from Westchester County, NY on 10/24/2010 – Verified Buyer
I picked this garage out after exhaustively researching a product that would be safe for my two year old but that he would not outgrow in six months. Most of the products targeted at 2 y.o. boys are too babyish for 2.5 y.o. boys. I admit at some level I fantasized about the Fisher Price garage we had in the 70's. Anyway, this was far and away the best product for the money on the market. Not too small or too dull, more than one level, more than one activity, accessories not too small or too big, ok for my bigger and my littler kid, and suitable for a wide range of skill levels and capacity for creative play. Other reviews complain about the construction component of this but if you are handy, it's no big deal. It took me about an hour and a half to two hours while watching tv. My biggest complaint in general about Kid Kraft is that the products are not made of solid wood and thus screws must be regularly tightened (true for our kitchen too) and occasionally some of the less durable pieces must be basically reconstructed by me (you). In general these are not toys your kids can throw across the room or sit on, but as long as you use them as intended, they handle kid play pretty well. I am having some trouble with the entry gate to the garage but I will call KidKraft this week and see if they will replace it for me. Bottom line: It is certainly as sturdy as any other wood toy out there, and probably as sturdy as some of the plastic toys. I like the KidKraft toys and I would buy them again. A little about me/us for reference: I have a two year old boy and a four year old girl. We live outside a major metropolitan area with multiple toy stores (which carried mostly unimpressive products hence the online purchase). My husband and I are both working professionals although I am home >50% of the time since I work part time. We host a lot of playdates and so far, both the kitchen and garage are holding up well.
