Lots of ways to play - for a range of ages.

I bought the Garage Playset for two of my grandchildren. A 1-year old boy and a 2 1/2 year old boy. Totally different personalities and skill sets, but they both play with the garage in their own way. There are so many ways to play with this that I think both boys will play with it for a long time. Very colorful and sturdy. A little difficult to put together because of the "pictures only" directions, but worth it in the end. Kind of an old fashioned toy, since it's made of wood and not plastic, but that's actually why I bought it. I was very pleased and so were my grandsons!
Great toy - doesnt work well with other cars

I purchased this for my 3 year old son and he absolutely loves it. The one minor drawback is that other brands of cars do not go down the ramp well (they fly off between levels). I was a bit disappointed by that issue but other than that it is a really great garage. The cars that come with it are very fun to run down the ramp and roll very well. All of the accessories are great actually - the people, the gas pump, gate, and car wash are all very well constructed. Very nice quality and cute enough that I don't mind having it in the living room. I defintiely recommend this product.
Wonderful Toy With So Mnny Options

This is a well made, multi-functional garage play-set with ramps, circuits, cars, and even a car wash that is destined to provide hours of creative opportunities for both boys and girls alike. It is relatively easy to assemble and the colorful toy will be sure to delight parents as well as children. It is a good investment for today and tomorrow, a sunny summer day or a cold, snowy afternoon.

I gave this to my grandson last Xmas ( he was 3), he still loves to play with it. A little tricky to put together, but worth it. The elevator is probably his favorite part of it. Just keep looking at the finished picture on the box as you put together.
ImaginativeToy, but Scratches Easily
Mommy of 1 from TX– Verified Buyer
My 3 year old loves this toy, as I knew he would. He has played with it for three days straight already. In my opinion, it was pretty easy to build. The picture instructions were easy to follow. The holes in the wooden dowels for the elevator needed to be slightly bigger, but all I had to do was use a screw that had a pointy end to make a larger hole before I put the pieces together. The parking garage is very sturdy. The only qualm I have is that the paint seems to scratch very easily. I'm a slightly OCD mom. Every toy has a place it belongs at the end of the day, and we treat our toys with respect. So, it is a little frustrating that my child has played with this toy in an appropriate way, but the paint is already scratched in several places.
Made my grandson very happy.

Although I ordered it from the picture, my grandson spent the better part of his birthday playing with it.
Good purchase overall

I picked this garage out after exhaustively researching a product that would be safe for my two year old but that he would not outgrow in six months. Most of the products targeted at 2 y.o. boys are too babyish for 2.5 y.o. boys. I admit at some level I fantasized about the Fisher Price garage we had in the 70's. Anyway, this was far and away the best product for the money on the market. Not too small or too dull, more than one level, more than one activity, accessories not too small or too big, ok for my bigger and my littler kid, and suitable for a wide range of skill levels and capacity for creative play. Other reviews complain about the construction component of this but if you are handy, it's no big deal. It took me about an hour and a half to two hours while watching tv. My biggest complaint in general about Kid Kraft is that the products are not made of solid wood and thus screws must be regularly tightened (true for our kitchen too) and occasionally some of the less durable pieces must be basically reconstructed by me (you). In general these are not toys your kids can throw across the room or sit on, but as long as you use them as intended, they handle kid play pretty well. I am having some trouble with the entry gate to the garage but I will call KidKraft this week and see if they will replace it for me. Bottom line: It is certainly as sturdy as any other wood toy out there, and probably as sturdy as some of the plastic toys. I like the KidKraft toys and I would buy them again.
great garage for imaginative play

bright colors, lots of detail, and lots of accessories ( cars, people, helicopter). It was a big hit at our 4yrld birthday party with boys and girls from 2-7yr old. the paint did get quite scratched up the first day of play, but it doesn't effect play - jus tlooks worn It did take a very long time to put together. Overall a great, quality, solid toy for the price
