Kartell E' Wall Sconce

I originally bought the green version of these sconces, since the online color looked like a muted chartreuse. Not so much. I loved the way they looked, but yhey were green. Really green. And the light was also green. Which might've been ok, except I had these on either side of the bathroom mirror, where, say, one might put on makeup. AML was great about returning them, even though the clear were backordered, and I finally got the clear ones installed a few months later. They're gorgeous! The plastic does not look cheap, like I had feared, and the retro/modern folding diffuses the light. Fingerprints do stick to the nickel mounting, but it's not like you have to touch them that much - just during installation.

These came, and I was a little leery because the plastic is so...plastic. But it's Polycarb, which is tough stuff...the boxes were banged to hell and the sconces were pristine. And really, really green. I have a green accessories theme in my new bathroom, so green could be ok...but they're really green. Electrician came and installed, one on each side of the vanity mirror, and they look slick. Professional. Designer. The light is diffuse and sparkly and everything I wanted. And green. Needless to say, I'm returning these and getting the crystal colored shade. If it were anywhere else, I wouldn't, but I don't need to wake up thinking I look like a Vulcan every morning.
