No complaints. I didn't need the instructions to put it together. I added wood glue to each joint and reinforced every corner with extra pieces of wood. I cut a piece of used 3/8" plywood big enough to cover the back and add stiffness. The plywood back made it heavier but the doors came out squared and the gap between the doors is uniform from top to bottom. The drawers slide in and out smoothly and the whole Closet really feels sturdy. It isn't like my stick built furnature I built from scratch in the other bedrooms. I took extra time and effort to add reinforcement because I wanted sturdy furnature. The extra effort was worth it to me. I wouldn't call it flimsy and the material was good enough for me to work with. I feel it was worth what I paid for it. All the parts were in the box, that box was heavy, and the parts were well protected.
It's alright if you can live with the flaws

i needed this armoire for my small room in a decent sized apartment. I picked this one because it was narrower than some others I looked at but also had two drawers for my folded items. However, be warned. Folks were not lying about it being a pain to put together, but I gave myself plenty of time to do it. Also, I felt it was important to reenforce the armoire with simple steel crossbars. Without them I'm sure this would not be able to successfully hold all my clothes. It would probably also be good to use wood glue which I did with the drawers... Either way, this thing just out of the box isn't strong enough in my opinion. But, it's ok. I have it loaded with stuff. Another "con" for me is that I have to slant my hangers sideways for them to fit well and be able to close the doors. But for a first apartment, it's ok. Def. not keeping this thing forever, though.
Worth the Price

The instructions do look like a child wrote them. Do not attempt if you're easily frustrated.
It's OK. It will meet its purpose.

The first time the item was shipped to me it was returned by the carrier because it arrived damaged. The second time it arrived with some nicks but not worth sending it back. The instructions to put it together could have been better written. I am not crazy about the mahogany laminate. It looks a bit on the fake side. I find the IKEA cabinets look more real than this one does. In any case, it is a sturdy armoire.
Good enough for what I needed

I know my boyfriend and my good friend took a while to build this but it's semi-sturdy and you get what you pay for. I'm changing the hardware on it to make it classier and nicer looking. It's holding my clothing just fine, and the drawers are quite spacious.
Functional but not deep

Hubby and I were able to put this together over two evenings without tearing our hair out. Directions were a step above what you often get. The wardrobe isn't really deep enough for his suits - the doors have to hang a bit open. It would probably fit women's clothes better. But, overall, it works.
Perfect for storage!

I used this piece as a shoe closet! I put adjustable, stackable shoe racks inside the top part for the perfect storage for my shoe collection. The rod was perfect for keeping my top of my boots from falling over.

Assemble was tuff. Could not believe all the parts for this unit. Definitely a 2 person job. Price was not bad and shipping is free! The handles are very cheap plastic but look good from a distance.
