You get what you pay for

from Ohio – Verified Buyer

Cons: - Instructions. Quite frankly they're horrible. They look like an elementary school student's art project. - Material. Not the sturdiest. Don't purchase if you're looking for something that you can move. Obviously not heirloom quality. If you're creative you can make it work. I didn't use the cams on the drawers because they didn't sit flush. I grabbed a tube of E-600 () and put glue into the grooves. Books on top overnight and it is holding together just fine. Pros: - Price. Not expensive at all. Perfect for somebody that just needs a little extra storage. - Shipping speed. Ordered and delivered within like 2 days. - Customer Service. On the first unit, the holes weren't all drilled properly and some of the pieces didn't fit. I called and they shipped another one just as quickly as the first, for free. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This isn't something I would use for heavier garments such as coats or mens suits. I'm not sure I would even put anything that required me to access this daily as it might fall apart quickly. It's fine for what I use it for, special event clothes that I don't reach for often. I also wouldn't put this in a room with a child that doesn't understand the danger of pulling on furniture. I live in an apartment so I don't have mine secured to the wall. It seems pretty sturdy but I think that it could easily topple onto a child. Overall, for my needs it is okay. Think carefully before you buy, you will either love it or hate it.

Clothes Closet

from Laceys Spring, AL – Verified Buyer

No complaints. I didn't need the instructions to put it together. I added wood glue to each joint and reinforced every corner with extra pieces of wood. I cut a piece of used 3/8" plywood big enough to cover the back and add stiffness. The plywood back made it heavier but the doors came out squared and the gap between the doors is uniform from top to bottom. The drawers slide in and out smoothly and the whole Closet really feels sturdy. It isn't like my stick built furnature I built from scratch in the other bedrooms. I took extra time and effort to add reinforcement because I wanted sturdy furnature. The extra effort was worth it to me. I wouldn't call it flimsy and the material was good enough for me to work with. I feel it was worth what I paid for it. All the parts were in the box, that box was heavy, and the parts were well protected.

It's alright if you can live with the flaws

from Brooklyn, NY – Verified Buyer

i needed this armoire for my small room in a decent sized apartment. I picked this one because it was narrower than some others I looked at but also had two drawers for my folded items. However, be warned. Folks were not lying about it being a pain to put together, but I gave myself plenty of time to do it. Also, I felt it was important to reenforce the armoire with simple steel crossbars. Without them I'm sure this would not be able to successfully hold all my clothes. It would probably also be good to use wood glue which I did with the drawers... Either way, this thing just out of the box isn't strong enough in my opinion. But, it's ok. I have it loaded with stuff. Another "con" for me is that I have to slant my hangers sideways for them to fit well and be able to close the doors. But for a first apartment, it's ok. Def. not keeping this thing forever, though.

Good economical storage option for smaller spaces

from Southampton, MA – Verified Buyer

This unit is a good value for the price. It is a fairly compact size with two large drawers. The hanging area will accommodate pants on a pants hanger and the width was perfect for my mothers assisted care apartment. It's worth noting that the unit had to be assembled. Tools are included and with some logic it was a smooth assembly. Pros: Good value for the money, nice storage option with adequate storage, seems sturdy and safe Cons: Shipping box was significantly damage (product was "ok") with no time to return and reorder. Instructions are not very detailed and assembler must rely on pictures and interpretation.

Worth the Price

from Ohio

The instructions do look like a child wrote them. Do not attempt if you're easily frustrated. Some of the holes aren't fully properly drilled. Some will require a little muscle, others you might have to request replacement parts. I had to call to have a whole second unit sent because so many holes were out of line. The drawers I wound up using really strong glue. A lot of the parts just didn't sit flush but the glue is practically indestructible. I do highly recommend this for anybody that lacks closet space but If you want something you're going to keep forever, look elsewhere and spend the money.

It's OK. It will meet its purpose.

from Jersey City, NJ – Verified Buyer

The first time the item was shipped to me it was returned by the carrier because it arrived damaged. The second time it arrived with some nicks but not worth sending it back. The instructions to put it together could have been better written. I am not crazy about the mahogany laminate. It looks a bit on the fake side. I find the IKEA cabinets look more real than this one does. In any case, it is a sturdy armoire. Pros: Cheap, sturdy, strong backing. Cons: Instructions, finish

Good enough for what I needed

from northborough, MA – Verified Buyer

I know my boyfriend and my good friend took a while to build this but it's semi-sturdy and you get what you pay for. I'm changing the hardware on it to make it classier and nicer looking. It's holding my clothing just fine, and the drawers are quite spacious.

Functional but not deep

from Washington, DC – Verified Buyer

Hubby and I were able to put this together over two evenings without tearing our hair out. Directions were a step above what you often get. The wardrobe isn't really deep enough for his suits - the doors have to hang a bit open. It would probably fit women's clothes better. But, overall, it works.

Perfect for storage!

from Red Oak, TX – Verified Buyer

I used this piece as a shoe closet! I put adjustable, stackable shoe racks inside the top part for the perfect storage for my shoe collection. The rod was perfect for keeping my top of my boots from falling over.

Assemble was tuff. Could not believe all the parts for this unit. Definitely a 2 person job. Price was not bad and shipping is free! The handles are very cheap plastic but look good from a distance. Looks Assemble and handles.
