A graduate of the Architectural Association School of Architecture, Iraqi designer Zaha Hadid began her professional career in 1979. Known for pushing the boundaries of architecture and space, Hadid’s notable designs include the Vitra Fire Station and the lf One pavilion at Weil am Rhein in Germany, a residential building for the IBA in Berlin, the Mind Zone at the Millennium Dome in London, and a ski jump in Innsbruck.
The 2004 Pritzker Prize Laureate, she is also a generous educator, having taught taught at Harvard University, Yale University, Columbia University, the University of Visual Arts in Hamburg, and the University of Applied Arts in Vienna.
