Grohe Soap Dispenser for Kitchen Application

I like that this pump can coordinate with a variety of styles. This pump seems to hold up longer than most. In my experience, soap pumps typically have a short life but this one has not corroded a bit.

This works great and at the price is a good value. We like having a dispenser rather then a soap bottle.

Being able to control the amount of soap that is dispensed is great. with the lightest of touch you can get a drop. Add a little bit more pressure and you can get more. This dispenser is very attractive and compliments the Bridgeford Kitchen Faucet nicely. The only issue is the amount of soap its undermount container can hold, which is half the actual container.

Installed in January has continually dispensed rust along with soap. Spoke to Grohe and they only offered to replace the plastic interior of the pump claiming that the rust is the result of the soap we use (Palmolive). PLASTIC DOESN'T RUST. IT'S THE METAL SPOUT.

It matches the Grohe stainless steel faucet I bought. It looks beautiful.

After a few years of use, the dispenser will not dispense soap. Just as well, since the bottle will not stay attached to dispenser (it is a poor friction fit design which wears out with time).

This purchase was to replace existing idem dispenser from Grohe which pump became faulty after 7 years of normal utilisation.Somewhat disappointing for a part with a stainless head. We were happy to find a matching replacement from Faucet.com

I live in a Historic Home and had my kitchen designed by a kitchen designer approximately 19 years ago and this is the kitchen soap dispenser they recommended. I have had to replace it 2 times during that time...but this is a heavily used item. I like its look as it matches my kitchen and I feel it is a quality product.
