Very good, but not great
Sally from NJ– Verified Buyer
-The finished product looks much more expensive than it actually was and it is really beautiful
-It is much larger than I expected.
-Overall, it's a good deal for the money.
-It was very difficult to assemble.I have put together A LOT of furniture and this by far the most challenging. The instructions are mostly useless and mine came with dozens of extra, unnecessary screws, bolts and other parts which made identifying the right part to use at the right step very difficult.
-Mine only came with 5 handles for 6 drawers. Wayfair can't send replacement parts, so I had to contact South Shore for it. They were very helpful and you can live chat to request parts right from their website. The replacement arrived within a week. It all worked out in the end but it was very disappointing and frustrating to have to wait for it.
-The slides are plastic-on-plastic. This made them really hard to insert and they don't slide in and out very easily.
-The sides of the drawers aren't as deep as the front so they don't hold as much as it looks like they would.
I like this dresser

I ordered this dresser and matching nightstand for my 13 year old son. It is very attractive and he likes it a lot. It took him and my husband a few hours to put the both of them together. It wasn't hard - it was just time consuming considering all of the small parts. While we didn't have any missing parts (actually extra bolts and such - unsure why) we did have a board that did not have the holes pre-drilled. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me the replacement parts right away.
Overall my son is happy with it and my husband wasn't because he had to put something together. It is sturdier than I expected and the color/grain is very nice.
Best bang for your buck!

The dresser is absolutely stunning! The box was a bit tattered when it arrived but there weren't any significant damages. There were a few minor scratches but these were quickly remedied with the marker that was provided in the box. Some of the holes weren't exactly aligned so there were a few instances where additional holes had to be drilled to ensure a correct fit. It took about 4 hours to assemble. The time could have easily been cut in half if there was more than one person working on it. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the quality of the product; it's an amazing piece of furniture for the price.

this dresser is awesome its beautiful and somewhat easy to assemble time consuming though. with a 4 month old it took me 12 hours but consecutively about 3. its held up beautifully we've had it 6 month and its still pretty and functional. ive been trying to find another since we have so much stuff and no closet and i'm buying another one. you cant beat the quality, design (my house tries to look like a mag) and the functionality. its suprising how much stuff you can fit in it its deep and wide no snagging clothes. hands down best dresser i've purchased
Pretty Ok Dresser

Pros: Product true to image. Good looking dresser.
Cons: I am not a handy person nor am I a builder. This dresser had ALOT of pieces and instructions. It took me and a friend 4 hours to assemble. The material at the bottom of the drawers is very flimsy. It is durable enough for my clothes but I am worried about it collapsing in the future.
Overall: weighing the pricing and product construction, I would say I am Ok with this dresser.
Great for the $$

I purchased this to try to match a similar dresser I already had. It looks nice and wasn't too awful to assemble with a little time and patience. The quality is not great, but what I expected for the money. I have had to shore up a couple of the drawers, and you will, too, if you overfill at all. The bottom comes loose. It wasn't a big deal, though. It survived a cross-country move just fine. All in all I am pleased.
looks great, so-so quality

I am happy with this dresser, but don't expect the highest quality piece in the world. You definitely get good bang for your buck-- this piece looks really nice, is a nice medium-large size, and has the simple design I was looking for in a dresser. The materials are not very high-quality wood, but it isn't flimsy when assembled. Assembly takes a couple hours-- it's simple enough but will take a bit of time.
Good Product With Issues

The dresser looks more expensive than what it costs. It has a decent build quality and can last for a long time with gentle use. Ours, in particular, had one of the wood pieces missing. We emailed South Shore and they promptly shipped it at their cost, so it was just a temporary inconvenience.
The finishing of some drawers exposed tiny points of wood in the original (lighter) color, but it was quickly fixed using a special sharpie that they sent with the kit. Overall, a good buy for the price.
Gravity 6 Drawer Double Dresser
Laura from Cincinnati, OH– Verified Buyer
The only cons were that the 7/8" screws were TOO SMALL. I had to go to the hardware store and purchase 1" screws which worked perfectly. But overall, the piece was beautiful once assembled and it is very sturdy. For the price, you can't really beat this quality. I would certainly recommend but it is much easier to assemble if you have another person to help.
Good purchase for price

After assembling the matching nightstand first, the assembly was nearly the same, and didn't take much time at all.
Probably 2 hours.
Looks great finished. I think I can count on this lasting a few years.
Some drawers are a bit tight when opening and closing, but overall i'm happy with the purchase.
