This is a foam-feel, thicker paintable wall paper that has such a dramatic effect, yet without the fuss or major expense of retexturing walls. Everyone that comes over wants to touch my wall. I used it for an accent wall in my bathroom. Tip 1: DO NOT overlap the edges. The trick is to spend the time getting the edges to line up side by side. Overlap and you can see the lines, side-to-side and it looks seamless. Tip 2: Use a primer-in-one thicker paint if you plan on painting the paper. You almost have to dry-roll the paint to keep it from being to gloppy ( - might not be a technical word, but you get the point) and gloppy messes up the pattern. I suggest painting a tester square before painting the wall.
Up for 17+ years now and still looks great

I put this paper on the ceiling of my library 17 years ago. It was a challenge and I don't recommend using very long strips to do a ceiling - break it down into smaller strips, say 6 ft? All in all it is durable, easy to paint, and gets a ton of compliments. It covers a multitude of ceiling defects. I wish I could post a photo here, because it is just so beautiful in the rich cream color we painted it. I even used the leftover as a chair rail height in our entry hall with a little trim on top. We used a technique on that one where we just dry-brushed the texture and left the base white. It looks like old tiles. Now I'm back for more for another hallway; and thrilled that they still have this design! Fun and versatile product!

Awesome product- planning on leaving it white. Have a moderate amount of experience wallpapering but had some difficulty getting started. It is much harder to hang than ordinary wallpaper due to thickness and heaviness. Dont dont dont overlap the seams even a tiny bit- super obvious if you do. Thought it tore easily when trimming edges- lots of touch up work to do. Regardless, the texture is amazing and worth the hard work.
Be certain before you order.

I did not read the description closely. I thought what I was ordering was pre-pasted but its not. If you have not used wallpaper paste I would not recommend it for a first timer. It is embossed and actually looks like the tiles you can buy when painted.

I bought it for my living room accent wall. Its a luxurious pattern, squares were the same color, Its beautiful, but it doesn't go with my decorum as I thought it would. I'm searching Wayfair's sight for more wallpaper to go with my decorum.
Great quality for the price!

I really liked the look of this wallpaper. Very easy to put up with wallpaper glue. The only hard part was matching up,the pattern between pieces on the wall. Other than that, overall quality of the paper was great!

I love it! everyone always ask me where did I get it from. I didn't paint mine because it looked nice with out it. I used it as an accent wall behind my bed.

Really beautiful but none of the rolls I ordered matched. They are all different shades of white. Learned that the hard way after I finished and thought I was going crazy.
