About the Manufacturer

Moms who know choose Graco. In 1942, Russell Gray and Robert Cone formed Graco Metal Products, in Philadelphia, PA. Through hard work and creative designs they created the world's first wind-up infant swing, the Graco Swyngomatic. They knew they had a hit on their hands but no one predicted that Graco would sell but millions of Swyngomatics in the coming years, becoming one of the world's leading manufacturers of juvenile products in the process.

From then on, whatever category it entered, Graco set the standard: the firm's Pack N' Play Portable Playards, designed by Nate Saint, the son of the Swyngomatic's inventor, was introduced in 1987, and achieved the same kind of success as Graco's wind-up swings. The Pack N' Play is now found in millions of homes across North America. Graco raised the bar further when it introduced the Travel System, the first product that allowed you to quickly click a car seat into and out of a stroller, making life easier for mom and dad by allowing them to move a sleeping infant from house to automobile to stroller without waking the little one up.

Today, Graco continues its tradition of innovation, with products like the aluminum-framed Quattro Tour stroller and the Pack 'n Play SPORT which is the perfect choice for families who enjoy outdoor fun. In 1998, Graco proudly acquired Century Car Seats, combining two of the most respected brand names in baby products, and leading to innovative products like the TurboBooster youth booster car seat.

Today, Graco is a Newell Rubbermaid company, with 1500 associates worldwide. While a half-century has brought many changes to Graco, the dedication and commitment to designing and manufacturing top-quality products that inspire parents and babies alike.

THE perfect crib (size, style, look, price, longevity)

from New York, NY – Verified Buyer

They could nickname this THE CRIB because I spent almost 2 mths researching cribs: viewing them in stores/showrooms, asking parents (fathers too, I.e. on setup time), and studying price comparisions and reviews online. This is my first baby; and I found what I thought I had wanted ($$$) was not the best option for my baby. A) I live in the city in an apartment so babys room is a stand alone room, but not as big as it would in the suburbs B) I hope for a 2nd baby so white is a nice neutral for both sexes -white easily matches with about all white furniture C) it means a lot to me that my husband assembles our baby's crib (I love traditions) so assembly factors were important. D) I'm a design fan so my Pinterest board is full of art, architecture and film references. If one is syncing with me then you won't be disappointed in this crib choice. Added values: my budget was fortunately more, but we're happy as Graco is a reputable brand in safety, design lines are classic so 5 years from now it won't look dated, big enough for a growing baby boy converting into a kids bed (I was looking at minicribs as a space saver until I discovered limited bedding options.) $2,000 custom cribs are pretty fabulous but everytime I look at my Graco Lauren I feel like a million bucks.

Wonderful crib!

from BOYNTON BEACH, FL – Verified Buyer

I wasn't sure this would be the best crib ever just because the price was so affordable. But as it turns out, it's fantastic! It's incredibly sturdy once it's fully assembled and looks beautiful. And I love that you don't need anything extra to convert it to a full size bed in the future except a standard metal bed frame. It took me a little over an hour to assemble by myself. I did have a problem with some of the screws to attach the mattress support frame, but I just switched them around until they all worked. My daughter's been sleeping in it for a couple weeks now and is finally sleeping through the night!

Great dependable and affordable crib!

from New Bern, NC – Verified Buyer

I bought this crib for my 2nd child since I have the Graco Charleston for my 1st child and was pleased with that one. The Lauren is also rated highly on Consumer Reports and it is very affordable compared to other cribs. It's sturdy and heavy enough where it makes you feel safe and it's easy to put together. My husband put it together in under an hour, maybe 30 minutes approximately.....which includes taking it all out of the box and discarding the packaging. It's nice it's convertible so you don't have to buy a toddler bed later. I recommend this crib to any parent.

Great Quality; Great Service

from Midland, MI – Verified Buyer

Can't say enough about the service. I procrastinating ordering for an upcoming baby shower and had to pay expedited shipping. When the expedited delivery was at risk, I contacted wayfair to see if they could ship earlier. I explained I would have to return the purchase and buy local if the package did not arrive on time. The customer rep explained there were no guarantees but assured me that it should ship in the next day. She also said that if delivery was not on time she would waive return shipping if needed. The crib actually arrived on time and I had received a follow up email from the customer rep the day after it shipped to say she was monitoring the order. Great customer service! Pros: Customer service Cons: Prices fluctuate often

Nice Crib

from Bartlett, TN – Verified Buyer

This crib is very nice. I put it together myself in a couple of hours after figuring out the directions. Went together easily. My only complaint was that the box was damaged when it arrived and, sure enough, there was a dent in the crib rail on the front. Other than that, this crib is sturdy and looks great. Very happy with it. Expecting grandaughter soon.

Great crib, minus some bad handleing and unexpected coloring

from Portland, OR – Verified Buyer

This was our second "Lauren" crib we purchased in our lifetime for our kids. Our first son received the "Lauren Signature Convertible Crib" after purchasing it from Babies R Us, back in 2012. Since this purchase was for our second son, we wanted it to be slightly different, yet still a "Lauren." Thus why we didn't go with the "Signature" model. This model also had the extra bonus of more color choices, and because our first crib being "rustic cherry," we wanted to go more of the "walnut" color rout; a lighter, more natural wood tone with barley to no red tones, without being the completely natural (and non stained looking) wood color of the "natural" option. After ordering and receiving our second crib, we were overall happy, but a little disappointed for two reasons: 1) There were a couple scratches on the crib, due to bad packaging and/or handling. The shipping box itself was also damaged. 2) The color was not the "walnut" we expected, but what we thought should've been categorized as "cherry." Cherry *should* = more red toned; walnut *should* = more natural but stained wood toned, with very little to no red hue to it. This crib's colors are apparently swapped (IMO)! Luckily for us, the wood tones are just barley different enough (since our first crib is "rustic cherry" it's a slightly darker red tone then our second crib's red tones), and the bed styles are just barley different enough, that it didn't bother us to the point of feeling like we needed to return/fix the color error. We love the "Lauren" series so much, that we went ahead and purchased a third one for our next baby, due 2/22. This time, in white!

Looks great!

from Jacksonville, FL – Verified Buyer

Haven't used this crib yet since baby hasn't arrived, but it looks great and not cheap considering the great price. Also seems very sturdy. Only complaint would be the height options for the mattress. The highest option doesn't come up quite as high as our other Baby Cache crib which was good for when baby is very young sleeping in crib. Also shipped fast without any damages.

Great deal!

from Louisville, KY – Verified Buyer

This crib was a fantastic deal and I didn't experience any of the delivery issues other buyers mentioned. It arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. The crib looks great and we're looking forward to putting it to use when our little one arrives in January! I will have to watch for the loosening of bolts that other buyers mentioned once it's in use, but they should all be in east to tighten areas. My only wish is that there were plastic caps to pop in over the bolts so it didn't detract from the overall aesthetic of the crib itself. But, you get what you pay for.

Great looking convertible crib

from Rohnert Park, CA – Verified Buyer

I have two of these cribs. We picked this out over two years ago with our first baby and just bought a second for our second child to match. They look so nice in the nursery and are excellent quality. Easy to put together (although it is a two person job when it comes to the part that holds the mattress). The best part is that it will transition with each kid as they grow. Our 2 year old is in the toddler configurement and it works great for her. Next year she will move up to the twin size.

Perfect Color and sturdy crib!

from Spanish Fork, UT – Verified Buyer

We bought this crib for our unborn daughter! We got in it with the gray finish and the picture shown is the exact color it came in. Lots of little parts but as long as you follow the directions its very easy to put together! The only thing that was kind of a "really?" moment is the fact that the little piece of wood that sits on top of the back piece of the bed doesnt glue in or anything. So while moving it or once your child becomes old enough to stand they could very easily pull that piece off. We decided to glue ours down just for safety purposes. Not a huge deal but it would be so much easier if it was just attached.
