After several years of work and endless discussion, Sapper and Alberto Gozzi created the sophisticated series of saucepans named the "La Cintura di Orione" in 1986. Undergoing the same meticulous design process they went with their previous collection, the "La Cintura Di Orione" Knives Set. Gozzi had always been aspired to create a set of knives not only suitable for great chefs and domestic gourmets, but also for the home cook. Sapper and Gozzi believed that it was essential to consider the hands as an integral part of every utensil, which is why it has to be made so that it can be firmly gripped. By dedicating proportionately greater space to the handles with respect to the blades, the handles are more ergonomic in size and shape and offer a stronger grip so they can be controlled easily and firmly.
