I love this light for the design and the brightness. It's sleek look fits great with my bathroom and even the electrician passed comment that he liked it. Worth the price.

Figuratively and literally. This is a hot looking product. It also generates quite a bit of heat! I did get the Xenon bulbs (which may have been a big mistake). Although there are vents at the ends of the opal glass, the heat caused the glass to bow and warp. This is likely not noticeable to the average person, but is very obvious to me.

I purchased the 2U-4 pin configuration which is a compact fluorescent bulb. There are only two bulbs with this configuration, but they are sufficiently bright for my small bathroom. The included bulbs are 13 watt 2700K, which means the bulb emits a slightly warmer yellow colored light. If you prefer more of a bluer cooler colored light you can always swap for a 4100K bulbs. Install was relatively easy, but I would recommend small screwdrivers with magnetic tips due to the lack of clearance behind the fixture. Also, make certain that you have about 20 on at least one side of the assembly in order to slide glass cover off when installing bulbs. Not sure why the CF unit is more expensive since the xenon bulbs seem to cost more.

This fixture puts out plenty of light over my mirror. Installation is a little tricky if one end is close to a wall. Overall, the finish is nice and I will continue to shop Minka products.

It's easy to install and does look very clean and contemporary in my condo. The negative is that even in my small bathroom I feel I could use more light output .
