Designwork is a joint project, born in Udine in 2002, based on a concept developed by Roberto Barazzuol and Artemio Croatto, who work with a team of seven collaborators. Roberto Barazzuol began his career in the United States where he founded a studio and worked on the conceptualization and realization of the Gap's brand image. Later he worked in furniture and industrial design. When he returned to Italy in 1993 he created Barazzuol Design. His work has won him major awards. In 1983, Artemio Croatto collaborated with Studio Montanari. In 1988 he was art director of brands such as Kartell, Hewlett Packard Italia, Moroso, Ron Ara Design London, Art'Φ. He is also a consultant on teaching, design and visual communication programmes. Design is a work. Work is a design. A working concept that combines conceptualization and realization, ethics and aesthetics. Designwork's watchword is: a design to draw, a work to design.

Foscarini Tosca Table Lamp
We are sorry, we have no reviews to display
The Foscarini keynote is research, into forms and materials, as well as ideas. Established in 1981 in Venice, Foscarini started out by exploring the opportunities offered by Murano glass. The management assures brand identity and coherence by careful conservation of its Murano heritage, whilst being ever ready to consider new objectives and to exercise its rare capacity for talent scouting.
The company works with both established designers who've created new trends and with younger, emerging exponents of alternative styles and approaches. This makes for a highly original catalogue and one of the most varied in the sector. Over the years, the range of materials used has expanded to include satin-finished glass, polyethylene, wood and aluminium, as well as patented materials such as an exclusive textured glass-tissue and carbone fibre composite or Kevlar R.
