Emeco Navy Dining Side Chair

Classic style. Well crafted. Some of the welds are obvious but thats how they are supposed to be. Expensive but certainly popular. They are very light weight but look much heavier. They were well packed for shipping.

nothing to say that hasn't been said already thousands of times: light, strong, comfortable, durable, & verrrry pretty :) I was charmed by the boxes & packaging they came in, too.

Using these as dining room chairs with our dark wood dining table. The contrast is perfect, and the chairs are very stylish. I'm a pretty big guy, and they work very well. The chairs are very light but also feel very sturdy. I would recommend getting cushions though. The seat may be a bit firm for most folks.

Guess what, I contacted Emeco with my concern, and they immediately responded. It is very good to see the importance they give to their customers and they offered very good solutions to the problem including a big discount and the replacement at no cost including shipping. They insisted in their quality control and how unusual this was, and they certainly convinced me. So far, I think I will be buying again from them. My next chair will be the beautiful Sezz side or lounge chair. Emeco, you still have a fan here!

I just bought a new 1951 chair in red. It is evident that is a strong, well made chair, but I received it with a bump in one of the back bends. But it is not a bump from shipping but a bump that was obviously polished, so my best guess is that their quality control is not as good as I supposed considering their high price. I found other not too perfect finishes that I consider different that the ones blamed to a hand made product. I dont know what to think; is a beautiful chair, but I expected better for 345 dolars.

Very light weight. They look great with a rustic wooden table.
