It was a bit challenging aligning the screws to the back of the stool however if I had someone holding the back in place, it would have went quicker. Those stools were too massive for my apartment. They have a real circle at the base, so the seat looks and actually is very big. These stools were easy to put together and seem very sturdy. The height worked well for me for our counter-height kitchen island. I did remove the plastic discs that were screwed into the bottom of each leg and replaced them with a soft pad that won't scratch our wood floors. They are not the most comfortable to sit on for long periods of time, but about what I would expect from a stool with this kind of woven seat.
