The shape of these bowls originates from Chinese rituals. In Chinese culture, it is polite to not eat all the food the host has offered to indicate that you were given enough. Designer Michelle Huang noticed that the younger Chinese generation living outside of China is losing touch with these traditions. Thus, with Bowls Plus she has aimed to reintroduce them to a broad, contemporary audience. This set of three bowls is available in your choice of green or light blue.
