Van Hooydonk, Adrian
Adrian Van Hooydonk is best known for his work as a designer at BMW, and as president of DesignworksUSA, the Californian design studio of the BMW Group. He worked in collaboration with Emeco and DesignworksUSA to design the 1951 line of chairs for Emeco.
The Dutch designer believes, “Design should make the world less complicated. The world is crazy enough without designers making it worse. The trick is to simplify but maintain the emotion."
