Great for the price!
Jen from Fayetteville, NC
I just purchased a new home with an island in the kitchen, and needed stools to use for it. Being my first home, and needing every extra cent for all the necessities that a new home requires, I was looking for the least expensive stools I could find, and until I saw these, I was beginning to accept the fact that I was going to have to pay at least $50+ for just one. I was ecstatic to have come across these which definitely fit the budget, and do a great job considering the price. They were easy to put together, and I appreciated that they come with wood glue to ensure the dowels stay in place. The real concern I had initially after putting them together, was that they are EXTREMELY lightweight. I have a two y/o son that believes it is his duty in life to destroy everything he possibly can during waking hours. But, so far, these have held up great, and I have actually come to like the fact that they are so light. Ultimately, they are a great addition to my growing furniture collection, and for the price, I would feel confident in recommending them to anyone who is looking for the best bang for their buck.
â¤ï¸ my new bar stools!

I ordered the bar stools for my kitchen area ... they look great with the granite counter tops! Love that they fit perfectly under bar. They also look easy to recover when I want to change out with new leather or fabric. I removed the plastic thingies on the bottom of the stools and put felt chair pads that are easy to slide on hardwood floors.
You get what you pay for

Ordered these a few weeks ago. They are a typical mass-produced furniture product that you assemble yourself. They are nice looking and fairly sturdy. I would recommend using better glue to assemble these stools than what is supplied with them, and be somewhat liberal with it. The only problem was that while assembling the second stool, after glue was already applied to specific areas, I found two splits in one of the legs when trying to drive in the screw. The leg was split in two places and since glue was already drying, I pushed on. I was able to open up the split sections enough to apply glue and then I was able to to screw the leg together from different sides to keep the split from getting worse. Now that it's all said and done these are some decent stools but I got these on sale... and I got what payed for.
Good buy for the money

Assembly required...and after figured out the error of my ways, went together really nicely. Light-weight, but seem sturdy enough & look like they were made to go with my kitchen cabinets & center island. Delivery was only 2 business days & it arrived as promised. Only complaint is that it was obvious a repair had been made in one of the pre-drilled holes (like they put it in the wrong spot...and used wood patch to fix, so the stain doesn't exactly match), but very happy with them overall.
Very nice stool!

These are very nice, easy to put together (took about 10 minutes) and they fit well under my counter. Nice height too. The only issue I have it they don't feel very sturdy. I don't know if I can tighten the screws more or anything but if you move too much in them they make creaking sounds. Otherwise great and very comfortable.

These were sturdier than I had expected. I even stand on them on occasion to reach unreachables, but I don't suggest this for safety reasons, just wanted to let you know that I trust their sturdiness that much :-) I 'm not a light-weight. I bought them to go on the ends of my island so I could have a sit-down on occasion as I worked. They work great for this. I would recommend these.
A comfortable bar stool

I had some difficulty putting these 4 chairs together and had my daughter help me. These were one of the items that did not put into the description that assembly was required. The assembly instructions were useless but we figured it out. I had company during Thanksgiving and one of the guest said the bar stool was comfortable.
Not what I expected.

I was disappointed with the quality of these stools. I can't use one of the four I bought because I am afraid it may collapse when used by my grandchildren. There are many pieces. I could assemble the pieces but my son had to screw them together. It required more strength than a senior female could muster!

Easy to assemble, except they omitted the washers used to attach the seat. Had to run to the hardware store before the glue dried, so I could get the seat on right. For $0.40 worth of washers, had I delayed, it might have been a problem with the legs being even. I plan to retighten monthly as it is used in a treatment room for people to sit on while changing clothes.

Love the barstools! They turned out perfect and have been holding up well too. We've been doing a lot of fun purchases to slowly get the new place decorated up. Most our purchases here have been awesome overall.
