The barstools worked out great! All our purchases from here have been good!
Comfortable bar stool

We ordered two of these bar height stools for our kitchen bar. We needed something without a back that would push under the narrow counter bar and would not obstruct the view from the kitchen to the family room. The seats are comfortable and they seem to be stable. Our only complaint would be that they were a bit tricky to assemble. One bolt and a few washers were missing from the sealed packages. Those were easy to find at the local home improvement store. There are a few places where the paint does not cover completely, so I am not sure they would wear well in a household with young ones.
Christmas Gift for Ourselves

Bought these for our lower level bar. They fit well under the bar and are out of the way. Some assembly required and it was slightly challenging. Some paint missing in a couple of areas because I believe it was sprayed on and missed but a little black touch up (with a marker) and we were good to go.

First of all I searched high and low for this bar stool in 27" in black. 30" too high and 24" too low. So bought 30" and had carpenter cut them down. I love the quality and the seat size is very larger. Photo doesn't reflect that but description does. Glad I looked because 5 stools would have been too many for area due to size of seat. Love the swivel seat. Assembly on one was very difficult and come to find out one of the internal screw set things was missing so only could attach seat with 3 screws. All in all the quality is good at this point (3 weeks). Will let you know after a few years of wear and tear. They do not look very "distressed" now but assume black would wear off.
