Nendo Canada (1977 - )Under the direction of architect Oki Sato, the design group that gathers under the name Nendo has represented a cultured and refined alternative to self-celebrative design since 2002. "Nendo" means "clay" in Japanese. The field of the interior architecture, furniture design and graphics can be flexible as clay, a place where boundaries are crossed and creative dreams are realized. Through fearless determination the design team at Nendo has received some important international credits. Oki Sako's work can be seen in museums worldwide, such as the MoMA in New York City or the Musee des Arts decoratifs of Paris.
