STYLE

The Collezione Fronzoni Dining Table is a Modern or Contemporary style product. Modern style is very sleek with clean lines, and generally incorporates high gloss using whites, greys, and blacks. A focus on geometry and angular shapes is a hallmark of modern design. Glass and leather are also seen a lot with modern style. Contemporary style bridges the gap between traditional and modern. Pieces feature simple and clean lines with smooth surfaces without any carving or adornment. You can shop for more Modern or Contemporary Dining Tables in the Dining section of our site.

About the Designer

A.G. Fronzoni

A.G. Fronzoni Italy (1923 - )

Thinking only about the essential, removing the redundant effects, useless flowering, elaborating on mathematical concepts, focusing on fundamental ideas, elementary structures, avoiding exess and waste. These are the ideas A.G. Fronzoni uses in his designs. This designer has been very active in the publication of magazines such as Punta and Casabella, in the interior design world, in graphics, exhibitions and didactics. He has worked as a teacher at the Societ? Umanitaria, in the Istituto d' Arte of Monza and the Istituto delle Industrie Artistiche in Urbino. He even has his own design school in Milan. Cities like Brno, Buenos Aires, Lion, Milan and New York have been the sets of several of his personal exhibitions. His work can also be viewed in museums worldwide.

About the Manufacturer

Cappellini enters the new millennium completely transformed in comparison to its origins, tied up indissolubly to the world of the image under every aspects and to the world of the experimentation and research. The Cappellini collections are convincing; they are well balanced, refined, simple and yet leans towards the experimental. There is no house style: the intention is to allow the user enough space for his own individual interpretation. All pieces have been designed to be used, contrary to the trend in recent years. Not only icons, many of which present in the most important museums of the world, from the MOMA in New York, to the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, to the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris, but also flexible products of great design for the daily use: an interest that Cappellini pursues since the beginning with products able to last in the time and that have become true “classical contemporaries”.
