Well, the nicely finished metal base and the good hardwood floor castedrs set this apart from most, but it is not why I purchased this chair. It is mostly the comfort of the seat. I am a large fella and my wife is somewhat petite. We both find the shape of these chairs unbeatable. We have a set of the framed chairs in our dining room, so I knew what I was buying.
