After thirty years, Romeo Calligaris was ultimately able to develop his father's once small, Italian furniture store into an innovative, industry-leading company. Calligaris became so successful, that by the 1990's, the company began selling its products internationally, and expanded into four new countries, including the United States.
Today Calligaris continues its legacy as an industry leader. With a strong focus on technology and development, Calligaris still finds its most important resource is the people who develop and manufacture its products, enabling the company to stay at the forefront of the furniture industry. Great design and well made, but it does sit pretty low at 24" - takes a little getting used to for me because I am short. Definitly adds a little sass to the room, very sleek. Next time I would try to get a better idea of the exact height I would like, because a couple inches makes a big difference!
