BedVoyage Bamboo Wash Cloth (Set of 4)
These are not odor resistant!!
Leslie from Wake Forest, NC– Verified Buyer
I received these washcloths about a month ago. The main reason I bought them is because of the odor resistance and mildew resistance claim. However, after only one month, I am detecting a mildewy odor in the washcloths. The washcloths are great quality, I can tell, but they are definitely not odor resistant. The problem is because they are very thick and heavy washcloths, so even after 24 hours of hanging after last use, they don't ever fully dry -- they stay very damp. This is naturally going to lead to a mildewy odor. I don't know how to make them dry any more quickly apart from throwing them in the dryer after every use, but that is just not realistic. I'm not going to run the dryer for one washcloth every time I use it. I leave the washcloth hanging in the shower from a hook, with plenty of air getting to it. Because of it's thickness and heaviness, it just never fully dries, so it gets a mildewy odor. The manufacturer should NOT advertise these as odor resistant. All in all, it is definitely a great quality washcloth, but I'm so disappointed about the false odor resistance claim. I bought 16 of these washcloths!! I would not buy again. I will try to find another washcloth manufacturer that keeps true to their claims.
