Sweets Tumbler

Born in Stuttgart in 1940, Hansjerg Maier-Aichen studied interior design in Wuppertal and painting at the state college of the visual arts in Munich. He created the brand Authentics in 1980, which won the European design award in 1997. He is a member of the German Design Council in Frankfurt and has been a professor at the Central St. Martins College of Art and Design since 1999.


The basic form of the Sweets range finds its roots in the Ming Dynasty from China. Besides the design form, the colors themselves are exceptional, giving every bathroom its very own, unmistakable expression. The colors work well independently of each other, but the combination of colors is particularly powerful. The Sweets' range fulfills all requirements for the bathroom, from soap dispenser to soap dish, tumbler to toothbrush-holder and container with lid for universal functions.
