About the Designer
Arnold Merckx Netherlands (1941 - )
Arnold Merckx (1941) works for various cupboard and furniture manufacturers. He learned his profession in practice from his father and grandfather. Merckx studied at the Academy of Art in Rotterdam and trained under Artifort's Kho Liang Ie and Pierre Paulin. The Key chair was his first design for Artifort.
Bridges connect. They connect riverbanks, areas and people. Bridge is a versatile office-furnishing program that brings people and ideas together. The frame is made of aluminum and top of veneer, laminate or desktop. Strong, slim, transparent supports for conferences or simply for working. Bridge is available in several variants with a host of accessories. This table program is based on rectangular tables in various sizes, but there are also several other possibilities including two round variants.
