Gerhard Reichert graduate engineer designer, engineer FH. After studying mechanical engineering at the FH Weingarten, focusing on energy and vehicle technology Investment in good design he studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart, with internship at the Siemens Design Center in Munich. He subsequently developed jointly with the Fraunhofer Institute IPA, Stuttgart new vehicle assembly requirements, structure for the company Skoda. From 1993-1997 he was project manager at MH Design Engineering in Germany and Switzerland. In parallel, he teaches as guest lecturer at the Weingarten and Ravensburg. 1997 Michele De Lucchi hired him to Milan, where he was in the Studio De Lucchi and 2004 as a project manager. In this time he managed including Michele De Lucchi and Ernst Gamperl Vitra Design Workshops in Boisbuchet. From 2004 to 2007 he was Professor of Design at the Fachhochschule Aachen in the Department of product design. Since 2007, Gerhard Reichert professor and course director for product design at the renowned School of Design Schwäbisch Gmund. He also worked as a reviewer for the Foundation for Industrial Research and worked as a Juror in Design Awards. Since 2009 Prof. Gerhard Reichert"s Advisory Board on Electric Vehicle Institute.
