The quality of this bedroom set is top notch, with a deep, dark reddish brown (more emphasis on the red than as seen in the pictures - it's definitely an auburn as opposed to "root beer finish"). The wood is rich and smooth, and the construction is solid and very well made.The styling of the design has echoes of contemporary Asian themes (which is what I wanted) and the brushed nickel hardware looks very nice in contrast with the deeper hues of the wood.[...] I purchased the bed frame, two leg nightstands (though one had a large crack in it and is currently being exchanged), the dresser, and mirror (which includes sturdy rails in the back which the movers drilled/screwed the mirror on to the dresser with).A wonderful bedroom set that would look great in a guest bedroom or master bedroom. In the future if/when I have my own home, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase the King size platform bed frame version.
