David Chipperfield's cutlery has simple handles that, despite their parallelepiped and apparently rigid shape, offer easy and ergonomic hold. Chipperfield strives for continuity of form: the cutting edge of the knife is a prolonging of the shape of the handle, thinned and slightly tapered, the side lines of the fork have their external sides parallel with the handle, and even the spoon has a slightly squared shape.
