Kristina Lassus, an interior architect, designer and design manager of high esteem in Helsinki, Brisbane and Milan, exudes a personal Nordic interpretation of the New Simplicity in all of her designs, and the Iota Salad Bowl (2006) is no exception. Minimalist in design, the simple flowing lines of this large bowl make it ideal for both displaying and serving. Cast in 18/10 stainless steel with a mirror-polished finish, this durable, beautiful and functional piece can be complimented by the Tibidabo Salad Serving Set - sold separately.

Alessi Tau Rectangular Tray with Handles by Kristiina Lassus
Extremely high quality

This tray is pricy but you get what you pay for. It features a very thick and heavy stainless steel construction. The workmanship and finish is excellent. My only issue is a very minor design issue. There is a space between the handles and the tray. However, that space is too small to put the tips of your fingers through. As a result, when you carry this tray, the weight is primarily on the tips of your fingers.
