Franco Sargiani works range from civil architecture to corporate image organization, the latter of which was often in collaboration with Eija Helander, a renowned graphic and industrial designer herself. Franco Sargiani has taught industrial and visual design at the Scuola Politecnica e di Design, run by Nino Di Salvatore and has collaborated with numerous companies, from which his designs have been published internationally in books and specialized magazines. Many of Sargiani's designs have also been selected for the Golden Compass Award and have been presented in numerous museums, including the Beaubourg in Paris, the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Tel Aviv Art Museum and the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro.

In this creation, known as the "Programma 8," a revolutionary look at table serveware was established. It is a complete set of modular, sectional objects that have been designed for maximum practicality and functionality and is known as "the most evolved system of domestic products created on an international level."
