An eclectic and versatile jewelry designer by trade, Emma Silvestris combines soft, feminine lines, the precision of geometry and classic elegance, as well as the use of ancient symbols, to create seemingly weightless designs. She is consistently noted for her incorporation of these characteristics, creating pieces that blend with the natural world, and have an ancient or antique quality of inspiration that is translated through modern materials and processes. The flowing and floating beauty of marine life is the inspiration for the Mediterraneo Bowl which is produced through a drawing to perforated laser cutting procedure. Its classic mirror-finished 18/10 stainless steel option is achieved through a special electrochemical process, while its Red finish features an epoxy coat over its 18/10 stainless steel form. The flowing and floating beauty of marine life is the inspiration for the Mediterraneo Kitchen Jars. In addition to the unique design of these kitchen jars, they also feature sleek 18/10 mirror polished stainless airtight hermetic lids that will keep the contents inside the jar fresh. These elegant and vibrant kitchen jars will definitely spruce up any kitchen's decor.

Alessi Mediterraneo by Emma Silvestris Kitchen Jar Collection
Colorful but small.

I like the design of these jars but they do not hold much. The largest won't hold anywhere near a 5 pound sack of flour so I need to keep most of my flour in another container elsewhere. I do like the pop of red color in the kitchen.
Not as they appear

These are NOT white!! they're clear glass and not as seen in picture. Also they feel cheaply made... Base isn't even (unless it's my quartz countertop)
