Lluis Clotet was born in Barcelona in 1941 and is active mainly as an architect and interior designer, receiving the F.A.D Award for creating the Best Interior Designs for 1965 and 1972, as well as the Best Building Award for 1979 and 1980. These abilities have enabled him to create many interesting, modern-inspired furnishings and household items that are featured for Alessi.
