Born in Alfonsine, in 1957, architect, designer, and explorer of the world of industrial design, Guido Venturini has become a recognizable figure in the world of design. His clever and accurate use of space management and internal architecture led him to the design of the famous Maddalena Loveburger project in Prato in cooperation with Stefano Giovannoni. His fresh, youthful ideas have played a large role in newer Alessi design concepts in the Family Follows Fiction series.

“Shaman” fretwork returns to the primitive and magical themes so dear to Guido. However, they are now proposed with a tendency to the geometrical as opposed to the figurative approach that has so far been typical of most of his projects. The result is an unusual and interesting effect that shifts towards the area of abstract graphic composition. The Guido Venturini Shaman Mat is the perfect addition to an elegant dining table.
