Born in Puglia in 1955, Cisotti works and lives in Florence where he graduated in Architecture in 1980. Since 1989 he has taught Technology of Production at the I.S.I.A., and, together with a group of notable architects from Florence, founded MADE in 1990: a cultural association and display area promoting new initiatives of architecture and design. He is in charge of the artistic department of various companies and his objects are shown in many national and international exhibitions. With this is mind, Cisotti has designed numerous consumer products for many manufacturers with a cutting edge artistic, architectural flair. In the Diabolix Bottle Opener, as designed by Cisotti, the mundane form of this common item has definitely undergone an overhaul. Fitting perfectly in the hand, this "little devil" of an opener, made of stainless steel and polyamide, will surely add some personality to your bar accessories.

These are so clever! I have purchased both the red and blue openers. I love mine (a few years old and wearing well), and the others made unique host hostess gifts.

I love this bottle opener. Everyone smiles when they see it because of the cute design Alessi is famous for. Plus, the quality is good -- it feels nicely heavy and substantial in my hand and definitely seems durable.
