Massimiliano Fuksas Italy (1944 - )Massimiliano Fuksas was born in Rome in 1944. In 1967, he opened a studio in Rome, followed by design firms in Paris and Vienna. He won the Vitruvio International a la Trayectoria Award in Buenos Aires for his work. He also received the Grand Prix d'Architecture Fran?aise, was named Accademico Nazionale di San Luca and Commandeur de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres de la R?publique Fran?aise and awarded the Aia's Honorary Fellowship.
Doriana Fuksas Doriana Fuksas acted as director's assistant at the 7th International Biennale of Architecture in Venice and as curator of some special sections of the exhibition. In 2002 she was named Officer de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres de la R?publique Fran?aise. Her partnership with Massimiliano Fuksas dates from 1985; she currently directs the Fuksas Design Section. Her work is characterized by continuous research into new materials and new techniques of manufacturing
