Born in La Spezia in 1954, Stefano as an architect and designer was taught by Buti at Florence University. In the early 80Æs he founded the King-Kong Production Group along with Guido Venturini. His explosive talent enables him to embody a complex system of 'affective codes' in his projects. This great approach won him the title of 'Super and Popular' designer in the 90Æs. A technical designer par excellence, he has industrial design in his DNA and the capacity to understand public sentiment like no other designer. His projects began with the "Girotondo" (1989 designed with Guido Venturini) and the first transparent objects in plastic from the "Family Follows Fiction" series (1993). There is a huge number of his items in the "Officina Alessi", "Alessi" and "A di Alessi" catalogues.

Alessi Cico Magnet Egg Cup
Susan from Haverhill, MA– Verified Buyer
Added to my collection of refrigerator magnets, pink/orange Cico is vibrant and stylish, like all things Italian and plastic.
Cute, but tiny
melissa from boone, NC– Verified Buyer
I realized this was a magnet, but I thought from the description it was an actual egg cup that was magnetic. Instead it is tiny and purely decorative. I put it in my cart to qualify for free shipping, so I guess technically this was a freebie item so I'm not complaining. But not sure what I'll do with it...
Cute mini magnet
Nancy C from Holland, MI– Verified Buyer
This is a cute, tiny magnet made to look like the Cico egg cup. It's not egg cup sized, but it looks like the larger original, although the hat and spoon are glued on. The hat, which is a salt shaker in the original, even has the appearance (really, an indentation) of a little hole in the top. I believe the photo Wayfair has online may be of the full-sized egg cup. Keep in mind that this is a small kitchen magnet made to look like that product.
