Alessi - Bombé Miniature Teapot by Carlo Alessi

With meticulous attention to the intricacies of the shape and materials used to make the original, Alessi has reproduced in miniature form the "Bombé" Teapot as designed by Carlos Alessi. The Bombé is still today the most successful tea and coffee set sold by Alessi, and it was Carlo Alessi's (Gravellona 1916) last design. He trained as an industrial designer at Novara, and joined the factory at a very early age. He was the man behind most of the designs that became part of our catalogues in the 30s and 40s.


Alessi has unveiled a series of miniatures comprising a number of classics from the last sixty years of their production. This collection includes iconic designs such as the "Anna G." Corkscrew by Alessandro Mendini (1945) and the "9093" Signature 67oz Kettle with Bird Whistle by Michael Graves. This impressive series was created with avid collectors of Alessi products in mind to give them the chance to complete their private collections of authentic Alessi pieces.
