Born in Milan in 1961, Pirovano is a designer, stage designer, graphic artist and interior designer that combines various languages in his projects and insists on the close bond between function and representation in his products and designs. As can be seen through his numerous creations for Alessi, everyday items are made into something that crosses national boundaries, cultures and ideals, mixing child and adult imagination alike with true versatility and functionality. The Canaglia Nail Clippers are no exception, transforming everyday nail clippers into a little nail munching monster. These "ferocious" nail clippers are available in two color options made from
nickel plated steel encased in thermoplastic rubber.
