They’re almost exactly as advertised. The plates are described to have a matte finish but they really have a have a pearly shine finish. I am a bit disappointed this is not the look I was going for but I looked for so long, finally piled the trigger on these that I don’t feel like returning and finding others. The organic-shaped edges are very well done, not awkward at all to eat from. They seem durable. I just don’t like the pearlized finish. Unfortunately, I really like these plates which are in the color raspberry. I say unfortunately because they’re very expensive. The color raspberry seems to not go on sale whereas some of the other colors do, which is frustrating.. Jill. Fri May 29 2026

I am really happy with this set of ceramic plates! There are 4 plates total in the set. They feel to be of really good quality and are well made. They are mostly matte with a slight sheen to them. I would describe the color as a faded terra cotta and it is beautiful. They serve well and stack well. Food looks really nice on them. They are very easy to hold and clean. I recently purchased these plates and they are made of plastic. The plastic is decent quality — not super thin or flimsy, but not extremely durable either. They feel sturdy enough for regular use and hold food without bending too much. However, for the price, I expected slightly better quality. They’re not bad, just not amazing for what they cost.
