About the Designer

Eero Aarnio Finland (1932 - )

Born in 1932, acclaimed Finnish designer Eero Aarnio changed the face of industrial design through his groundbreaking use of plastic. The Pastil Chair, reminiscent of a bright piece of candy, is an example of his highly innovative vision. The New York Times described the Pastil Chair and the iconic Ball Chair as "the most comfortable forms to hold up the human body." With its smooth fiberglass body and perfectly contoured seat, you can showcase this striking piece anywhere inside or outside your home for practical comfort as well as maximum visual impact.

Soft waves of the table clearly echo Pastil's rounded shape, and two together form sublime harmony of playful curves.

However, Copacabana Table functions well on its own for any number of uses. It is striking side table, lovely sculpture for living room or garden, or handy bench when extra seating is needed.

The table's sturdy fiberglass construction makes it appropriate for indoor and outdoor settings. It can be used in living room, bathroom, in garden or yard, by pool, and anywhere else it is needed.
