|AAmerica®, Inc. has been a producer of high quality furniture at affordable prices for many years. A family owned company, AAmerica was founded by two brothers: Fred and John Rohrbach. Today, both brothers still actively lead the company, positioning AAmerica as one of the value and quality leaders in the furniture industry.
A pioneer in the industry in many ways, AAmerica has a tradition of evolving with changes in the furniture industry, in many cases leading the way. But to understand who AAmerica is, and the advantages of doing business, you have to go back to the beginning.
In 1973, Fred and John Rohrbach became importers of ceramics and handcrafted home décor from Vietnam. They called their company, A-America. The first "A" stands for ASIA". Prior to starting the company both brothers graduated from the University of Montana. During school and after graduation they were smoke jumpers for the U.S. Forest Service. Both served their country with honor as John was in the Army and Fred was with the 173rd Airborne Brigade in Vietnam. With the fall of Saigon in 1975, Fred was one of the last Americans to leave via a helicopter from a rooftop in Saigon.
AAmerica's original products were focused in value priced solid oak tables and chairs and rockers. But over the years, AAmerica has extended product offerings in formal dining room, bedroom, youth bedroom and home office. AAmerica has been known as THE leader in the casual dining category. Today, AAmerica has evolved from their original nostalgic solid oak tables and chairs to include many other wood species, fashion forward finish and styles, while maintaining the "30% Over Built & 30% Under Priced" standard.
AAmerica's current strength comes from over 32 years of experience doing business and establishing key relationships with the best manufacturers throughout Asia. This has enabled the company to provide retail dealers with Quality, Design, Features, Value and great Service. To support the company's growth over the years, AAmerica employs a knowledgeable customer care staff, an experienced Sales Team, Asia manufacturing and quality control specialists, and has a 200,000 plus square foot warehouse dedicated to quick ship delivery in Tukwila, Washington.
Currently, AAmerica employs over 200 associates, many who have been dedicated employees to our company for the last decade. AAmerica has permanent showrooms in High Point, North Carolina and in the World Market Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
